MONROE COUNTY COMMISSION Vacancy Announcement Board Member – Red Sulphur Public Service District

The Monroe County Commission is accepting applications to fill one (1) vacant seat on the Red Sulphur Public Service District Board.

This is an important appointed position that plays a vital role in providing water and/or sewer service to residents in the Red Sulphur District. Board members are expected to:

Attend regularly scheduled bi-monthly board meetings
Actively participate in making policy and operational decisions for the future of the District
Oversee District employees and operations
Review and approve expenditures, including co-signing checks with other board members
Fulfill all other duties and responsibilities as required by West Virginia Code for Public Service District board members
Compensation

$150.00 per regular meeting attended
$100.00 per special/emergency meeting attended
This is an appointed position that will serve the remainder of the current term and is eligible for reappointment.
